Digitalisation company

Going digital does not have to be a risky bet. At Yelido, we start from the reality of your business, isolate a useful first scope and quickly deliver a module that genuinely changes day-to-day work. The aim is not to “rebuild the whole system at once”, but to move forward in stages, at the pace of your business.

Yelido, the digitalisation company that supports Belgian SMEs step by step

Yelido is an SME based in Liège, made up of a small team of experts, 100% senior.

We see every project as a new and unique challenge. Our role as a digitalisation company is to listen to the reality of your business and build a solution that reflects your needs, rather than impose a preconceived model.

Yelido’s method is based on five steps:

Step What we do Benefit for you
Scoping Observing the actual work, mapping workflows, defining a priority pilot with simple success criteria. A clear starting point and investment focused on what matters.
Clickable prototype Mock-ups and screens tested with your teams before any heavy development. Less ambiguity, concrete user feedback, a design suited to how people actually work.
Short iterations Delivery in functional batches, each one usable in production. Visible results at every step (an automated task, a shorter workflow, less back and forth).
Training & adoption Targeted sessions by profile, short guides, support at launch. A tool that is actually used, not just installed.
Evolutive maintenance Continuous improvements and small increments rather than major overhauls. A solution that keeps pace with your business without breaking what already works.

💡 Limiting risk: we start with a short scoping phase and a prototype that you test before committing to full development. You decide on the next steps on a concrete basis.

Examples of successful digitalisation projects

UniCast (University of Liège)

  • The client’s problem: Broadcasting and recording lectures at scale, without adding to lecturers’ workload or multiplying technical operations.
  • What Yelido put in place: A very simple journey for lecturers (badge identification, automated start), automatic filing of videos and unified student access. Our digitalisation company designed the screens with the users, built a prototype, then rolled out in batches to stabilise each step.
  • Business impact: Teaching continuity ensured, a frictionless start for lecturers, and a reduced support workload thanks to automation.

ChargeStream (electric mobility)

  • The client’s problem: Organising EV charging in shared settings (companies, residential buildings) and recharging costs accurately without endless spreadsheets.
  • What Yelido put in place: A system that schedules sessions, tracks consumption per user and generates automated invoicing. We scoped the cost model, prototyped the validation flow and integrated the solution with the existing tools.
  • Business impact: Transparent costs, no more manual re-entry, recurring administrative time savings and rapid adoption by users.

Lessons learned from a pragmatic digitalisation company

Our clients’ needs are unique, but some “basic” technical functions come up often, even systematically: invoicing, accounting integration, user management, access security, subscriptions…

Rather than redevelop everything each time, our digitalisation company chose to build and maintain its own software building blocks, both robust and connectable (including to clients’ third-party systems).

These “building blocks” are not “turnkey” products, but proven internal components, fully mastered by our team. They provide a reliable technical foundation on which we build custom solutions for the digital transformation of Belgian SMEs.

This approach has several concrete advantages:

  • Greater reliability: each building block is tested and used in several business contexts. It forms a stable base that reduces the risk of errors during development.
  • Time and cost savings: the essential functions (authentication, role management, invoicing, synchronisation with Salesforce, etc.) are already operational. Time and budget are therefore invested in what makes your company specific.
  • Consistency and scalability: because these building blocks are developed in-house, Yelido continuously improves them and ensures lasting compatibility between projects.
  • Full transparency: their code, logic and limits are known to our developers, so there are no surprises or unexpected issues during assembly or customisation.

This design strategy allows our digitalisation company to combine speed of delivery, technical robustness and full control of the system, without depending on opaque proprietary solutions or compromising customisation.

A Belgian digitalisation company committed for the long term

Yelido is a stable and experienced team: 9 out of 12 team members have more than ten years of experience in IT. This stability ensures a continuity that is rare in the sector and an in-depth knowledge of the projects we run.

  • Every assignment of our digitalisation company is based on co-design with your teams: we design, test and adjust together, so that the final tool fits your day-to-day work.
  • Our projects move forward in controlled stages, with a clearly defined pilot before the solution is extended.
  • We favour durability over excess: training, support and continuous improvements rather than one large, fixed project.
  • And because we master our technical building blocks (Salesforce, AWS, Orkkestra), we deliver final tools that are reliable, connectable and long-lasting.

A first scoping workshop is enough to identify your priorities and lay the foundations of your custom tool. We look forward to discovering your project!
